H.E. Curtis lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Northern California with his wonderful family.  He is besieged by an army of cats, under the masterful direction of his wife...they *do* trip him on purpose.

Mr. Curtis enjoys the starry skies, variety of wildlife, and the awesome thunderstorms experienced in the area.  He also enjoys the study of symbols, folklore, and rituals, which he often incorporates into his books. 

He is an accomplished poet, a stargazer, and a dreamer, as well as a die-hard romantic.  He plans on returning to Scotland to visit again, and bring his family to enjoy the magic and mystery he enjoyed once before.
